What is DAQAstra?

The DAQAstra system is an integrated data acquisition and control solution designed to streamline engineering workflows. Harmonizing hardware and software, the DAQAstra ecosystem allows for fleet integration, simple set up, and iterative design of DAQ and control systems. The DAQAstra application allows for no-code setup when speed and simplicity is paramount, and simple customization when a bespoke solution is warranted.

Story of DAQAstra

TransAstra is a cutting edge new space company. We invented new technologies that help the Space Force and NASA with their missions and will make asteroid mining a reality soon. But in the course of conducting experiments and building products, we ran into roadblocks.

Our team was fed up with slow set-ups built on outdated programming language for data acquisition and control. So we built our own! DAQAstra was born out of necessity and relentless innovation, and is ready to be shared with you.

    DAQAstra Team

DAQAstra was created by TransAstra, a space technology company advancing telescope systems and orbital logistics. Our proprietary Sutter™ telescopes prospect asteroids and track elusive satellites in cislunar space for the U.S. Space Force. We are launching our Capture Bag into orbit to demonstrate safe and effective debris capture and satellite servicing. All of our systems are automated with DAQAstra—and soon, we’ll use them to mine asteroids and unlock the vast resources of the solar system for sustainable space industrialization.
